Packaging

Okay, we admit that packaging isn't the most exciting topic. But, it matters. It really does. We know because we researched how handmade printed products are packaged and shipped.  What did we conclude?  It really is the Wild West out there.  So, in the interest of the safety of your order, we've invested in great packaging. Here's the rundown:

Small orders 

Small orders include stickers and small runs of printed envelopes or other items.  These are first packaged in a clear poly bag to ensure safety in transit. This greatly reduces the chances of your order being damaged if, say, your mailbox isn't the most waterproof or your accidentally spill coffee on your mail.

Small order are then shipped a rigid photo shipper. We think this is the absolute most critical step to ensuring safe delivery. The photo shipper is about ten times the cost of a regular envelope (about $0.50 versus about $0.05 cents for a regular envelope) but is in our opinion is many times better in terms of ensuring your item stays flat in transit.

Bigger orders 

Bigger orders are orders that don't fit in the rigid mailers we use for small orders.  These orders are are packaged in a shipping box with appropriate packing material inside to ensure that your items don't get jostled around in transit.  Fear not, we will not be sending your order in the Amazon box that we received last week and decided to use to save a few cents.  You'll get a new box that you can then recycle for another use if you wish.

Shipping

Once your order is lovingly packaged and ready to go we hand deliver it (usually to the United States Postal Service but maybe to FedEx or UPS for large orders) where we wish it well and trust that it will arrive safely. All orders are shipped with tracking information so you can keep an eye on it while it's in transit.

Our standard shipping via USPS has an in transit time of two to ten business days. We offer upgraded shipping options including two day and overnight shipping with no additional handling fees. You just pay the additional shipping costs.
